After leaving the Military as a Combat Paramedic our owner Joe returned to school and completed a master’s degree in Cellular Biology with emphasis in Medical Laboratory Science. He then opened a Laboratory specializing in Oncological Pathology examining and diagnosing breast cancer.

After twelve years of operating his lab, Joe decided to sell all his accounts to a larger laboratory conglomerate and embark on his passion of providing medical grade service in the tattoo and piercing industry. Bringing more than forty years of experience to the tattoo and piercing fields his expert guidance is reflected in the quality and professionalism that is evident in the service at House Of Colour. He is “hands on” and is always accessible to our clientele.

When he’s not at the shop, Joe can be found out at the local airports either working on planes or flying them.
